A spectacular re-enactment took place on Sunday, July 14 near the original battlefield at the Memorial Park near Morrisburg, Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>The orignial\u00a0 battle saw the defeat of 3,000 Americans by a combined British and Canadian militia force of only 1,000 and effectively terminated the planned invasion of Montreal and Quebec City.
