To commemorate the 100 anniversary of the Comunist Party in China, the Chinese ambassador to the UK laid a floral tribute at the Marx grave in the “Victorian Valhalla,” HighGate Cemetery in North London.

PRINCE PHILIP RIP

The Duke of Edinburgh, HRH Prince Philip has passed. Floral tributes have been moved from Buckingham Palace down the Mall to Marlborough House, currently the home of the Commonwealth Secretariat. Marlborough House had previously been a Royal Residence up until the death of Queen Mary in 1953.

I was very much flattered when the above image was chosen by the Duke of Edinburgh’s Emerging Leaders’ Conference as the frontispiece for their signature program a few years back.

THE OLD COW SHED

Winter has gripped the land. Was fortunate to capture the following image in Gatineau, Quebec. This old barn with “French” ventilators was in a perfect state of detioration for photography: a year earlier would have been too early and next winter would be too late as the shed might collapse.
