Lost Maples is a beautiful spot in the Hill Country of Central Texas. On the day it wasn’t great birding but did manage to put three species on my life list!!
First on the way to the park we encountered a flock of Cave Swallows.
Cave Swallow in flight.
White-eyed vireo building a nest.
Yellow-throated warbler.
And finally a better shot of the Golden-cheeked warbler!!
Dynamic Blue Duo…..a Blue Grosbeak and Indigo Bunting seen at the Lost Maples feeders.
