With the warbler migration winding down spent a glorious day out at Britannia Bay where I was greeted with a great opportunity to photograph a pair of winter wrens.
Warbler action was slow with the ubiquitous Yellow Rumped being the predominant species. But when life gives you lemons, make lemonade right?? So I tried to improve on my shots of that species with some half decent results.
Later in the day I walked down to Andrew Haydon Park and spotted a very cooperative pair of immature black-bellied plovers who were quietly working the rocky shore line.
