May 09.
Lots of warbler action, but birds remain skittish and high in the tree canopy. Spend considerable time chasing the elusive and spectacular Blackburnian warbler but no photo ops!
Later in the day, a Magnolia and a Redstart finally deign to give me a pose.
MAGNOLIA WARBLER
REDSTART
Taking a break from the warbler action I manage to catch this SCARLET TANAGER chomping on an insect.
And finally a BROWN THRASHER hoves into view!
Not the greatest of days but I’ll take it!!
