The Red Shoe Pub, owned by the famous Rankin sisters on Cape Breton Island, has apparently become victim of yet another crime. Someone has walked off with last remaining eponymous wooden red shoe from the front window.
Two years back, I dined in the Red Shoe a couple of times as much for the entertainment as for the food, which by the way was excellent. So impressed was I with the nosh, that I have now added fish cakes to my limited culinary repertoire! Drop by some time and see the results for yourself!!
