Sad day in Skinner’s Pond, Prince Edward Island! Stompin Tom Connors, a Canadian original, icon and legend, has died at the age of 77. I had the honour of watching him receive the Governor General’s award for the performing arts. Below is an image I took of his hometown school house during a visit a couple of years back.
