LOYAL ORANGE LODGE #126
July 12 is the anniversary of the 1690 Battle of the Boyne where William of Orange, “Good King Billy” lifted the siege of Derry in Northern Ireland. LOL #126 is the last remaining Lodge in the City of Ottawa. As late as the 1950s the Orange Day parade was the largest public parade in Canada.
