WARBLER JOURNEY

On the weekend I traveled with good buddy Paul Lagasi to hunt for warbler’s on the north shore of Lake Ontario.  Over two days we worked Col. Sam Smith park in Toronto, Thickson’s Woods in Whitby,  and Presqu’ile Provincial park in Brighton. The weather was warm and balmy both days. In all, we recorded 22 warbler varieties as well as some great encounters with other species. Highlight of the trip  was the elusive Blue-winged warbler which is a life bird for me.
