Gaudi’s tears must be falling for his native city. He was accidentally killed by a tram. Today’s victims were deliberately run over by a van.
Turns out that the primary target of the terrorists was La Sagrada Famillia (shown above), Spain’s top tourist attraction, and had it not been for the premature explosion the night before of a multitude of gas canisters in the original plot, the death toll could have been much, much worse.
